For over four decades, our hospital has been proud to care for local pets and their families in the Orillia community. Today, we are excited to continue supporting pets and families in a new and expanded way as Huronia Veterinary Urgent Care, a satellite location of Huronia Veterinary Emergency Clinic.
Our urgent care model is focused on providing urgent care, comfort, and compassion when it matters most. Clients have access to experienced veterinary professionals with backgrounds in both urgent and general practice medicine, helping pets receive prompt assessment and treatment.
Huronia Veterinary Urgent Care will work closely with Huronia Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Barrie for patients who may require advanced emergency care, surgery, or hospitalization. This connected care model is designed to make transfers smoother and help pets access the right level of care as quickly as possible.
Urgent Care Hours
Monday–Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Friday–Sunday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
As Huronia Veterinary Urgent Care focuses on urgent care services, routine wellness care such as annual exams, vaccinations, preventive care, and ongoing primary care appointments will be supported by our sister hospital, Elmvale Vet Hospital.
