What is euthanasia?

It is the medical term used to describe a pain-free death. During euthanasia, a high-dose seizure medication is given through intravenous injection to the patient. The drug immediately stops the vital organs from functioning, which allows the patient to pass away peacefully.

Can I be present when my cat or dog is euthanized?

Absolutely! Pet parents are allowed to be present during your loyal companion's final moments. We understand that some of our clients may find it difficult being there and that's also okay. We will allow pet owners a few moments before and after the procedure to say their last goodbye.

What happens after euthanasia?

Once the procedure is carried out you can choose to have the remains of your cat or dog cremated or buried. Our team can recommend facilities that offer these services or suggest different ways to memorialize your loyal companion. We can also recommend grief counselling groups to help you cope with your loss.
